Our Wedding

We met in March of 2017, in that liminal space between graduation and the next big leap. Miranda was deep in law school prep, and Teddy was crafting beers at a cozy brewery in Petaluma. What started as a serendipitous connection quickly grew into something undeniable, we officially started dating in May, just two days before Miranda moved 400 miles south for the summer. Distance didn’t scare us. By fall, Miranda was back in San Francisco for law school, and our long-distance love became a medium-distance one, just an hour apart, but still full of weekend drives, late-night calls, and shared playlists. In early 2020, we made a bold move: we decided to live together just days before the world changed. Quarantining in Teddy’s Santa Rosa apartment with our sweet cat Artemis turned out to be the best kind of unexpected gift. That little home became the backdrop for Miranda’s law school graduation, her first remote job, and countless cozy dinners and deep conversations. In 2022, we packed up and headed south to Anaheim, chasing new dreams and slightly warmer weather. Teddy found his dream job, and we found a rhythm that felt like home. Then, in July of 2025, Teddy proposed, and Miranda said yes, with full heart and happy tears. Now, we’re building the next chapter together. And we can’t wait to celebrate it with you.

Miranda and Emilee met in high school just days after Emilee’s big move from Michigan to California—and they’ve been best friends ever since. From teenage antics to maid-of-honor duties (twice!), their friendship has come full circle, now with just a few houses between them.

Teddy’s sister and his “best woman”—because no one fits the title better. She and Teddy talk almost daily, and when Miranda entered the picture, she and Sydney became fast friends too. The three of them quarantined together and turned shared snacks and stir-crazy nights into lifelong memories.

Miranda and Halle met slinging soaps and other bath products in a mall at 18—and even though the job was short-lived, their friendship definitely wasn’t. From twice-weekly hangouts to years of laughter in Northern California, Halle’s been a constant source of joy and realness ever since.

Miranda and Kelsey have been best friends since age three—and even though they haven’t lived in the same state since high school, their connection has never wavered. They’re living proof that “forever friends” isn’t just a phrase—it’s a way of life.

Miranda’s brother and Teddy’s favorite conversational sparring partner. They bonded over fancy beers and a mutual love of passionate tangents—different interests, same energy.

Miranda’s younger brother and honorary big bro to Teddy’s 11 year old cousin, Luca. Ever since Blake moved to Seattle for college, he and Teddy have bonded over their favorite shared obsession: Luca’s wild tween antics and ever-evolving personality.

We recommend booking your flight into John Wayne Airport (SNA) in Santa Ana. It’s the closest airport to our venue (Miranda's parents' house) and makes for a smooth, stress-free arrival. With shorter lines and easy access to Anaheim, it’s a great alternative to LAX — and you’ll be just a quick drive away from all the wedding festivities!

The vibe is “garden party,” so think festive, breathable, and effortlessly put-together. Linen sets, flowy dresses, floral patterns, jumpsuits, or a favorite dressy top—whatever makes you feel comfortable and celebratory. We’ll be outdoors, so consider shoes that play nice with grass. No need to overthink it—just come feeling like yourself, with a little extra sparkle.
